Restless Sleepy

Sleepy has been staying home too long. It's been 6 years now since she started her home business. For most of that time, she's either been pregnant, watching the kids, or both. DaBrat and Li'Godzilla still stay at home, and will for a few more months at least. The Bear gets home at 3 and also drives her crazy with his consistent demand for negative attention. Plus, she's got this strange obsession to keep the house way too clean. On top of that, we demand that she cooks real food for dinner. Anyways, Sleepy is now certifiably insane. I was going to have her locked up, but that'll cost money. So we worked out a compromise, she's going to find an outside job, probably a hostress somewhere. She also sneaks out for outings with "friends". She assures me they're just friends, but I could careless either way. I'm just glad to be rid of a raging lucatic for a while.
Sleepy dropped off DaBrat and Li'Gorzilla at lunch so she can interview at a large local card club. It's a by referal only jobs at one of the major Asian crime hubs in area. If she gets in, she'll make good tips and build up her travel business too.

Rambling Gambler didn't drop off the money he owed her last night. My guess is he didn't win his poker game as planned, or a dimebag just isn't as big as it used to be. That's the problem with all businesses around here, legit or otherwise, they don't raise the price of goods when they should but just reduce the quality or quanity instead.
(Update) Sleepy thinks Rambling Gambler was trying to put off paying her for a long while (he can't rip her off unless he never plans to see his son again). He told her a friend to going to drop a check off. She told him that he wouldn't make it on the plane, so he came over in like 15 minutes with cash. Now that drugs have ruin what's left of Rambling Gambler's crediability, he's not getting anymore loans or IOUs. In fact, we'll just stop dealing with him altogether. I can't wait for his new wife and daughter to get here from China. She's a doctor with a very bright daughter, and she wants to daughter to attend college in America. We think he must have trick her into thinking he's some kind of successful businessman.

The Bear's project wasn't coming along as well as expected. He didn't really research the books like he's suppose to. I guess he's starting his college education early. Tonight's lesson is "crammping".
(Update) It's going to be a few days late. Dispite the teachers getting lazier and having more days off, the homework assignments seems to be getting longer and more complex than I remember in elementary school. I'm seriously considering to check him into a Montessori school next year. Sleepy has a client(in-law of friend) who owns some local Montessori schools. Maybe we'll find one which has a pre-school, so DaBrat can go, too.

The characters

The Bear's(aka big boy) latest school project will be due Friday and we still have a bit of work left. Still, he's doing better working by himself without micro-management. I'll need to spend at least 1/2 hour with him today to make sure he's on track.

DaBrat(aka Princess) got sick over the weekend. It's not bad, but warranted a visit to the doctor. With so many kids sick, this trip took 3 hours. Not to mention, the pharmacy also required 3 hours to fill the order. All in all, Sleepy(aka the wife) was not happy.

Li'Godzilla (aka baby) has been extra gumpy at night. She's waking up and demanding attention. Like a pair of bad parents, we're giving it to her.

The Bear hasn't been taking care of his goldfish as expected. Sleepy wouldn't let it die like the tapole did, so she's taken over the responsibility of caring for it.

The Rambling Gambler (aka divoiced father of nephew) came by last night to drop off some money I loan him. He's less conherent then last time. Sleepy thinks he must have just won the money cause he didn't have it yesterday, and no one gets paid on a Monday. Plus we think he stop working a while ago. He suppose to come back today to pay Sleepy for a plane ticket. I guess he's got to win some more money, cause if he had it yesterday, he wouldn't make 2 trips.
